In June 2024, John approached me for help with his new venture: a smoke shop that offers a wide range of smoking-related products, and some nightclub activities. John had a very open-minded approach to the design, especially when it came to colors and shapes. He provided me with just one logo reference that he liked, which featured an extruded, three-dimensional effect.
Given the well-defined target market, I suggested using the abbreviation 'SMKG' as a modern and streamlined way to represent the brand. This not only aligns with current trends but also gives the brand a distinctive edge.
The final design successfully captures the essence of John's vision while incorporating a contemporary aesthetic. The 'SMKG' branding not only stands out visually but also resonates with the target audience, making it a strong and memorable identity.
